What to ask a solar integrator
A charger can charge the car with surplus solar production if it works together with the inverter. Pairs from the same manufacturer work this way, for example: Huawei, Sungrow, Growatt or Fronius.
- Surplus charging. Whether the charger can charge only from surplus solar production, and whether it works with the inverter you already have.
- Load balancing. Whether the charger reduces its power when the water heater, cooker and air conditioning are running in the house, so that total consumption does not exceed the approved power.
- Who installs the charger. The integrator itself or a partner electrician — and whether you get a test certificate after installation (what a test certificate is).
- Warranty and service. Who services the charger — the integrator or the brand distributor (list of distributors).
