Company data comes from their public pages, under the same rules for everyone.

Companies

A company's data is copied from its public page, with a link and the date of the check. The same columns apply to every company: public price, installation, meter, assembly paperwork, service and warranty.

“Not mentioned” only means that the company's page does not have that information. The service may exist, so ask the company.

A featured company is marked “Featured”, is listed first in the company lists and is shown in the same columns as the others. The other companies are listed alphabetically, and on the prices page by price.

Details on the companies
  • The price is copied word for word, with a label: incl. VAT, excl. VAT or not indicated. If the price is in euros or excludes VAT, the conversion is given in brackets (VAT 20 %, exchange rate 117,2 RSD/€).
  • A company is included in the register if its public page clearly offers the sale or installation of chargers to private customers in Serbia. Unconfirmed companies remain “under review” and are not published.
  • The groups in the table (e.g. public price with installation, device only) describe what has been published, not quality.
  • Quotes obtained on request, as a customer, are not published.
  • The comparison contains only public and verifiable data, without value judgements (the conditions of Article 14 of the Law on Advertising).
  • The tables are available as CSV downloads, under the CC BY-NC 4.0 licence (media and researchers may quote and publish them without separate permission).
  • Logos are taken from the companies' and networks' own websites and only help you recognise the company. They belong to their owners; a logo is removed at the company's request.

Public charging

Networks do not publish price lists on their websites, so the price is only visible in the app. That is why prices are read once a month from the networks' apps and from receipts for paid charging sessions.

Details on charging prices
  • A price from an app is recorded with a dated screenshot. Every price comes with a source and a label: “primary source (app)”, “primary source (receipt)”, “media” or “user data”.
  • Converting a per-minute price into a per-kWh price is the site's own calculation, with the assumption about the average charging power stated.
  • Charger locations on the map come from the open databases Open Charge Map (CC BY 4.0) and OpenStreetMap (ODbL), completed with the lists the networks publish themselves. Every point has been checked against those lists, on Google Maps or on the location owner's website; the rule is explained in Help.
  • Send a screenshot of a price, with the date and location, to [email protected]: the corrections form accepts only text and a link.

Services

The service map shows the authorised services from the importers' lists, for brands that sell electric cars in Serbia, and independent services that say on their own website or page that they work on electric cars. Each service has a source and the date it was checked. Services have no ratings and are not ranked by quality. A point on the map comes from the importer's or the service's website or is placed by address with OpenStreetMap, never from Google Maps. The list is checked quarterly, together with the companies.

Electric cars

The list of brands is compiled from the official Serbian websites of the brands and importers, and for a brand with no website for Serbia, from Serbian media, with the check date. A brand is on the list when an official importer or distributor in Serbia offers at least one fully electric passenger car; announcements are marked separately. The same fields apply to every brand — importer, showrooms, models and starting price — and the brands are listed alphabetically.

Details on brands and used cars
  • Prices come from importers' price lists and model pages and are checked once a month, as on the electric car prices page. When the importer does not publish a price, the price from an authorised dealer's website is used; a price from the media appears only next to the model, not in the price table.
  • A brand whose offer could not be checked is not added to the list until the offer is confirmed; such brands are named below the list.
  • Brand logos are there only to make a brand easier to recognise. They are taken from the official sites of the brands and importers or from public logo collections, belong to their owners and are removed at a brand's request. The model photos are from Wikimedia Commons, under free licences, with their authors.
  • The classifieds sites, used-vehicle programmes and independent importers on the used and imported page are listed using the data on their own websites — all those the check found. Their offers are not rated, and a place on the list is not paid for.

News

The news follows official sources and reliable media: ministries, the Official Gazette, EPS, JP “Putevi Srbije”, charger networks and importers. Every news item has a date and a link to the source. Only what the source says is published, and announcements and proposals are marked as such.

Details on the news
  • Sources are reviewed three times a week. A news item is published only when there is something new and verifiable; there is no set number of news items.
  • The text is short and written in original wording. Quotes are short and come with their source.
  • Photos come from Unsplash and Wikimedia Commons under free licences and are never taken from the media. The caption under each photo says what it shows, who took it and under which licence. A photo does not always show the exact place or car from the news item; the caption makes that clear.
  • News texts are prepared with the help of AI tools, under the same rules as the whole site. Every figure is checked against the source before publication.
  • The photo on the home page and the illustrations in the guides were made with the help of AI tools and do not show real places or people.
  • News items that rely on data from this site (charging prices, the status of state-owned chargers) link to the page with the data.
  • An outdated news item is not deleted. When something changes, a new item is published.

Ads

An ad appears only at the bottom of the pages of three sections — Buying and owning, On the road and News — and is always labelled “Ad”. Data, order, ratings and articles are not for sale, and ads for selling or installing home chargers are not accepted. Terms and prices are on the Advertising page.

Updates

  • Companies and the charger price table: quarterly and after every report.
  • Public charging prices: monthly.
  • News: three times a week, when there is news.

The date of the last check is shown on every page and next to every company.

Other data and regulations
  • Networks and free locations: quarterly. Subsidies: with every official announcement. Statistics: following SAUVD's quarterly releases.
  • Tariffs, motorway tolls and parking: when the rules change, and at least twice a year.
  • Regulations come with the Official Gazette number, and figures with the primary source and date. When sources differ, both are given, with a note on which one is used.
  • Nothing on the site is legal advice.

Corrections

A company can ask for its entry to be corrected, supplemented or removed, without giving a reason. Report an error on the corrections page. Corrections are made within a few days and recorded in the changelog.
