BlokVolt is edited by the team behind Evolako, a Novi Sad company that sells and installs home chargers in Vojvodina and Belgrade. That is a conflict of interest, and we do not hide it: every page states who the author is, and in all tables and lists Evolako is shown in the same columns and by the same rules as every other company, labelled “our offer”.
Public charger operators in Serbia publish no price lists on their websites — the price only appears in the app just before charging starts. That is why we read the prices in the price index from the operators' apps (editorial screenshot, with the date) and from receipts for charging sessions the editors paid for; older records from the media and from users (forums, blogs) stay on the network pages as price history. Every price comes with the date, the source and a reliability label (“primary source (app)”, “primary source (receipt)”, “media”, “user-reported”). Converting a per-minute price into a price per kWh is our own calculation, and the assumptions about average charging power are stated with it. We do not rank networks, apps or hosts; they are sorted by type, not by quality, and we give the size of a network as the operator publishes it. We are glad to receive screenshots of app prices with the date and location via the corrections page.
For regulations we give the Official Gazette number and, where available, a link to the text. For figures we give the primary source (MUP, SAUVD, NALED, JP Putevi Srbije, city price lists) and the date. When sources disagree, we give both and say which one we use and why. Nothing on the site is legal advice.
The date of the last check is shown on every page and next to every company.
Everything we publish as a table can be downloaded as CSV on the data downloads page, under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 licence — free to use and republish, with attribution. Each row comes with a link to the page the data was copied from and the check date, so anyone can check our work instead of taking our word for it. It is also the easiest way for someone to catch us in a mistake, which suits us.
We prepare the texts with the help of AI tools, from a list of verified facts with sources; the editors check facts, amounts and sources before publication. Proofreading by a native Serbian speaker is done in batches; if you come across a language or factual error, report it.
In Serbia, comparative advertising is permitted under the Law on Advertising (Article 14), provided that it is objective and verifiable, relates to material characteristics and does not disparage a competitor. Our tables are built to meet these conditions: only public, verifiable data, with a source and a date, without value judgements.
