How it is calculated
At home: (energy price + 0,801 RSD for renewable sources + 0,015 RSD for energy efficiency) × excise duty 7,5 % × VAT 20 %. Electricity from the meter = kilometres × consumption ÷ 100 × (1 + losses).
Garage rent: added to the monthly cost. Charging pays for the garage from the mileage at which the saving against public chargers equals the rent.
Public chargers: kWh the car receives × price per kWh. For a fast charger, 60 RSD per kWh is assumed: the average of four receipts from the Charge&GO app, August–September 2026 (43–79 RSD/kWh).
Fuel: kilometres × litres per 100 km ÷ 100 × price per litre.
What is not included
The price of the car and the subsidy, insurance, maintenance, motorway tolls (10 % discount with ENP), the fixed items on the electricity bill and the home charger. Electric cars do not pay the vehicle use tax.
