Fuel: maximum retail prices from 30.10.2026 at 15:00 to 06.11.2026 at 15:00. Electricity at home: blue zone, low tariff, with all fees, excise duty and VAT, plus 10 % charging losses. Public fast charger: the average of receipts from the public charging price index; receipts show 43–79 RSD per kWh. Consumption is an assumption, the same as in the cost calculator.

What it means

At home at night, 100 km on electricity costs about 107 RSD, and on Eurodiesel 1.298 RSD. During the day, at the high tariff, the same charging at home costs about 368 RSD, still less than fuel. The low tariff applies only with a dual-tariff meter, and the zone depends on the household's total monthly consumption: electricity prices by zone.

At a public fast charger a kWh costs 43–79 RSD according to receipts, depending on the network and the power the car takes, so 100 km costs 731–1.343 RSD. At the receipt average (60 RSD per kWh) that is about 1.020 RSD, less than on Eurodiesel.

Fuel prices can change every Friday, while the household electricity price changes rarely: the current one has applied since 01.10.2025. The amounts do not include the price of the car, a home charger, maintenance or motorway tolls. For your car, mileage and share of charging at public chargers: cost calculator.

Details: assumptions and calculation

Consumption: Eurodiesel 5,5 l, petrol 6,5 l and an electric car 17 kWh per 100 km, as in the calculator. For a car that uses 16 to 18 kWh, 100 km at home at night costs 100–113 RSD, and at a public fast charger 960–1.080 RSD.

At home, 10 % charging losses are added, so 18,7 kWh per 100 km comes from the meter. The kWh price is the EPS price list price plus the renewable energy fee (0,801 RSD) and the energy efficiency fee (0,015 RSD), then excise duty of 7,5 % and VAT of 20 %. At a public charger you pay for the kWh the car receives.

Zone kWh at night (RSD) 100 km at night (RSD) 100 km by day (RSD)
Green 4,15 78 252
Blue 5,70 107 368
Red 10,35 194 715
