After its presentation at the Paris motor show, the Chinese electric car maker AVATR announced that its first models will reach Serbia by the end of 2026. They are the AVATR 07L luxury SUV and the AVATR 06T, a coupé-style estate (shooting brake). No sales start date has been given.

Delta Auto Grupa takes over distribution in Serbia and the Western Balkan markets. The agreement was signed on 24 April at the Beijing motor show and covers Serbia, Kosovo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia, Montenegro and Albania.

Prices, equipment and batteries for Serbia have not been published yet, nor have showroom and service locations. According to the announcement, prices should be competitive in the premium segment. AVATR was founded in 2018. It is developed by Changan, with Huawei for digital systems and CATL for batteries.

What it means

For now this is an announcement, with no price list and no sales start date. The subsidy decree has no upper limit on the vehicle price, but applications for 5.000 € for a new electric car close on 1 December, so buyers counting on the subsidy depend on when the cars actually arrive.
