Privacy: location and cookies

Location

The “Near me” button on the map uses your location only when you press it; your browser or phone then asks for permission. The location is used to sort the list by distance and is not sent to the site. You can withdraw the permission in your browser settings for www.blokvolt.rs.

The base map loads from the OpenFreeMap servers, so they see your IP address.

Measuring visits

Visits are counted with Cloudflare Web Analytics: page views, the website or search engine the visit came from, country, device type and loading speed. The tool sets no cookies, writes nothing to the browser and does not track you on other websites. The results are aggregated.

Cookies and browser storage

• The site sets no tracking cookies. The site's provider, Cloudflare, may set only a strictly necessary security cookie.
• Favourite chargers and the “I have a Tesla” choice are saved only in your browser, and only once you make them. They are not sent to the site and disappear when you clear the site's data.
• Your browser keeps recently opened pages so that they work without the internet.
• A YouTube video loads only when you press “Play”, from the youtube-nocookie.com domain.

Reports, photos and forms

• A report from the map is stored with its status, rating, comment, nickname, time and the site language.
• Every message and report is also stored with a one-way fingerprint of the IP address that changes every day. It serves only to prevent abuse.
• Before sending, your browser shrinks the photo and saves it again, without location or device data (EXIF).
• Form messages are kept for at most 12 months after the last contact. Reports, ratings and photos stay while the charger is on the map or until you ask for deletion.
• Data is not sold. The processors are Cloudflare (hosting, database and visit measurement) and Spacemail by Spaceship (e-mail); data is also processed outside Serbia, with the safeguards of the Personal Data Protection Act.

Android app

The app opens the site in Chrome or another browser. It asks for no permissions, sends no notifications and collects nothing itself, so the same applies to it as to the site.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. Send your request to [email protected]; the reply comes without delay, within 30 days at the latest. You can lodge a complaint with the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection.
